Standard AI Tools

Texas A&M provides a range of free AI tools available to all students, faculty, and staff. Whether you need a quick AI assistant for everyday tasks, a research and organization tool, or access to multiple commercial AI models in one place, Standard AI tools are a great starting point.

TAMU AI Chat

For Everyone

TAMU AI Chat is Texas A&M's own secure AI platform, giving all campus members private access to a wide variety of leading commercial AI models in one place, including models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.

Key Features:

  • Access multiple commercial AI models in one platform
  • Run the same prompt across multiple models at the same time

Daily usage limit: Each campus member receives a $10 daily usage allowance that resets at midnight UTC (6 - 7 p.m. Central Time).
