TAMU AI Chat API
For everyoneImportant: Individuals should only use the API feature for learning, experimenting or prototyping. This tool is not meant for production applications.
TAMU AI Chat API is useful for getting started with local AI development, especially when you are using an API to call a custom model you create with TAMUS AI Chat. By leveraging our API access, you can plug directly into modern agentic coding environments and assistants, including:
When you're ready to build and deploy at scale for a wider audience, enterprise AI cloud platforms are available through the Enterprise Compute Environment.
Usage Limits:
- Each campus member receives a $10 daily usage allowance that resets at midnight UTC (6 - 7 p.m. Central Time).
- Certain proprietary features and advanced responses are currently unsupported. See the official documentation for details.
Requirements:
- Create and Test your API Key - You do not need to buy an API key!
