Google Workspace Studio is a no-code automation platform built directly into your Texas A&M Google account. It allows you to build AI-powered agents that automate personal or team workflows across Google Workspace apps simply by describing what you want the agent to do.

Key Features:

Build AI agents simply by describing to Gemini what you want your agent to do
Automate workflows across Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Google Chat

Usage Limits: Free accounts include up to 25 active workflows with a maximum of 20 steps each. Workflows are subject to a daily run limit that resets at midnight PT.

Need more capacity? If you're consistently hitting usage limits, there are a few options:

Optimize your existing workflows: adjust trigger frequency or add conditions to reduce unnecessary runs
Purchase a Google AI Pro License (employees only): provides higher usage limits and access to advanced AI features.

Microsoft Copilot Studio is a low-code platform that allows you to build custom AI assistants and automated workflows within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Copilot Studio is ideal for employees who want to create purpose-built AI agents without a development background.

Key Features:

Build custom AI assistants and chatbots using a visual, low-code interface
Connect to university data sources like SharePoint and Teams for more relevant responses
Share agents with your team without requiring technical support to maintain them

Requirements:

An active Microsoft 365 Copilot license (purchased separately)
An Azure subscription purchased through the Enterprise Compute Environment is required to deploy agents to a large audience

Best For:

Employees who want to build custom AI assistants or automated workflows within Microsoft 365 tools like Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook for personal use or team-wide deployment.

Example Use Case

A department manager builds an automated workflow that collects meeting notes from Teams, summarizes action items, and routes them to the appropriate team members in Outlook.
