Getting Started
Sign in to Microsoft Teams with your NetID and password at teams.microsoft.com or open the desktop/mobile app.

Microsoft Teams is part of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools available to Texas A&M employees and students at no charge.
License Upgrade:Microsoft Teams Premium is available to university employees as a paid add-on license. Microsoft Teams Premium is designed to enhance the standard Microsoft Teams experience with advanced meeting features, including Copilot AI-powered assistance. View the Teams Premium Knowledge Article for detailed information. A Teams Premium license can be purchased through the Software Center.

Data Restrictions
Some types of data are not allowed in Microsoft Teams. Learn more about the types of data restricted from use.
If you need to record or transcribe a meeting, you must use the features built into Microsoft Teams (opens in new window). The use of third-party tools such as Otter, Fireflies or similar services is not permitted, as Texas A&M does not have contracts with these vendors and cannot guarantee the security or protection of meeting transcripts or recordings.
