Overview
Slack is a campus-licensed communication platform available to all Texas A&M faculty, staff, and students. It supports channels for team collaboration, direct messaging, and app integrations including Zoom, Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, and more.

Getting Started
- Go to tamu.slack.com
- Sign in using your NetID@tamu.edu email address via single sign-on (SSO)
- Once signed in, you can join or be invited to channels to begin collaborating.
Members can invite collaborators as single-channel guests or via Slack Connect. External users can also be added. The Texas A&M Slack workspace is available at no additional cost to all campus members.
Cost
The TAMU Slack workspace is available to TAMU faculty, staff, and students at no additional cost.
Service Details
Texas A&M University has a campus license for the Slack communication platform. With this tool, divisions and teams can set up channels for direct communication with group members. Users can also send direct messages to users and join other channels throughout Texas A&M.
