Overview
TAMU WiFi is Texas A&M University's campus-wide wireless network, available in classrooms, offices, libraries, residence halls, dining areas, and some off-campus locations.

Getting Started
Faculty, staff, students, and sponsored guests can connect to TAMU WiFi using a NetID and password. For connection steps, visit the Wireless Setup Guide.
Cost
See General Computing Rates for TAMUS, Non-TAMUS, and Auxiliary Rates. TAMU WiFi is provided at no charge for Texas A&M Students, faculty, staff and sponsored guests.
A site survey will be conducted for each wireless LAN case to determine the cost.
Service Details
- Available in classrooms, residence halls, libraries, dining areas, and office buildings
- Centrally supported networks: TAMU_WiFi, TAMU_Visitor, eduroam and TAMU_IoT
- Avoid connecting to unknown or unsupported wireless networks
Features
- Secure access with NetID credentials
- Multi-device connectivity in most areas
- Expansion available upon request
Guidelines
- Unauthorized wireless access points are prohibited and will be disabled
- Departmental or standalone wireless networks must be approved
- Outside-building wireless coverage is not allowed unless approved
- All networks must comply with Texas A&M network policies and state/federal laws
- Use of personal wireless equipment (routers, hotspots) without approval may lead to network suspension
