Internet of Things (IoT)
Overview
The Texas A&M Internet of Things (IoT) wireless network (TAMU_IoT) provides internet access to devices that could not connect to TAMU WiFi in the past (Alexa, wireless printers, etc.), while allowing the university to link devices to a campus member’s account, ensuring the network stays safe.

Getting Started
Devices must be registered in the TAMU IoT portal before they can connect to the TAMU_IoT network. Learn more in the Knowledge Base.
- Make sure you’re on campus and connected to TAMU_WiFi.
- Log in to u.tamu.edu/IoT with your NetID and password.
- Register up to five devices (using the MAC address).
- Connect your smart device to TAMU_IoT
Service Details
The Texas A&M Internet of Things network is available in all locations across campus with a wireless network.
Guidelines
- Devices must be registered in the TAMU IoT portal before they can connect to the TAMU_IoT network.
- Campus members can connect a total of five devices to the TAMU_IoT network.
