Getting Started
To join the Texas A&M Globus subscription, follow the instructions in the Knowledge Base.
Anyone with a Texas A&M NetID and password may access Globus by visiting auth.globus.org (opens in new window), selecting Texas A&M University and entering their NetID and password. Once logged in, you will need to enable the Texas A&M subscription on your account.
Request
To add an endpoint to the Texas A&M subscription, please contact Texas A&M Technology Services at: globus-request@tamu.edu, and provide the Globally Unique ID (GUID) of your endpoint.

Guidelines
University Data Policies
- All Globus Endpoint data is subject to University Data Classification policies
- Those in charge of endpoints need to follow the rules for managing data, as set out in the Texas A&M IT Policy Controls Catalog
Important Terms of Use
- TAMU data is a university asset owned by the institution, not individuals
- Users must comply with TAMU's Terms of Use Policy for data sharing and distribution
- Globus Connect Software is a TAMU Information Resource governed by TAMUS System Policy 29.01
- Usage limited to university mission-related tasks (not for commercial or illegal activities)
Data Restrictions
- Commercial or illegal use is prohibited
- HIPAA data use requires adherence to specific safeguards
- Data is a university asset, not individually owned (SAP 15.99.03.M1.03)
