Overview

A Texas A&M NetID is your universal login credential for accessing university resources such as email, WiFi, and secure systems. NetID passwords verify your identity and protect these systems. Passwords must meet security standards and are managed through the Aggie Account Gateway.

Getting Started

To activate your NetID, visit the NetID Account Gateway. To change your password, visit the NetID Password Management page. For forgotten password recovery, see instructions in the Knowledge Base.

Request

Students, faculty, and staff with a UIN and birthdate can claim their NetID at the Aggie Account Gateway. Departments may request guest NetIDs by submitting a form to the Identity Management Office: NetID Request Form.

Service Details

  • 16+ characters: does not expire

Password Recovery allows users to reset forgotten passwords without contacting support. If this feature is not configured, users must contact Help Desk Central for assistance. More detailed information is available on the Identity Security website.
