Information Security Awareness Training

Overview

All Texas A&M University employees are required by state law to complete Information Security Awareness Training annually. This training covers safe computing practices and university information security policies.

Getting Started

Employees and contractors will be notified by email when it is time to take the annual training. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the training.

The training is designed to educate faculty and staff on essential security principles, including:

• Safe computing habits
• Awareness of phishing and malware threats
• Understanding of security policies, regulations, and responsibilities

This initiative supports compliance with Texas state regulations and Texas A&M’s internal security controls.
