Accessing Identity Data

Overview

Technology Services provides demographic, role, and contact data to campus service providers to support identity management, provisioning, authentication, and authorization.

Getting Started

Campus service providers who require identity data to support their services may request this information by following the procedures listed below. This service is only available for official university purposes.

Technology Services does not support public data requests. All public information requests should be sent to the Texas A&M University Office of Open Records.

Request

To request identity data:

• Email identity@tamu.edu with your request.
• Data use must be for an application or service-specific need related to students, faculty, or staff.
• Must be for official academic or administrative purposes.
• Data usage must comply with the Texas A&M Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy.

Processing time:

• Requests typically take 2–4 weeks to process.
• FERPA-protected or private data will require additional review by the appropriate data custodians.
