Technology Services 2025 Annual Report: Advancing Transformation and Innovation

The 2025 Technology Services Annual Report highlights a year focused on growth and innovation, as the department continued to deliver on its commitment to continuous improvement. Among the most significant highlights were the launches of transformative resources for The Texas A&M University System community: TAMUS AI Chat and the VISION supercomputer. These advances lay the groundwork for breakthroughs that will enhance learning, discovery and collaboration across the Texas A&M community.

Other Technology Services endeavors reflected an ongoing dedication to enhancing the performance of critical campus services. The implementation of Cisco VoIP replaced an outdated voice infrastructure with a secure, reliable, and future-ready communication system. The continued expansion of the Next-Gen Aggie Network further improved wired networks, wireless access and security across campus.

In addition, Technology Services enabled many customer-driven enhancements and technology efficiencies with a range of benefits to the campus community. From the redesigned IT.tamu.edu and expanded TechHub to an array of security-focused initiatives, Technology Services invested in creating a more responsive, efficient and user-centered technology environment.
