Network Installations
Overview
Texas A&M Technology Services installs and maintains twisted pair (Category 6) and fiber optic network connections for campus departments, following university wiring standards.

To request network installation, complete the Network Installation Request form.

* Services and installations will be charged based on time and materials.
Additional Details
Costs to departments reflect cabling supplies and labor associated with installations. Technology Services will maintain the wiring at no cost, but equipment problem diagnosis will be billed on the standard hourly basis.
Service Details
Technology Services installs Category 6 or fiber optic wiring to departmental distribution equipment. Departments are responsible for purchasing and maintaining this equipment. All wiring maintenance and configuration is handled by Technology Services.
